Floatdrive integration with Readymag

With Floatdrive, you can effortlessly integrate objects uploaded to our platform into any no-code website builder of your choice. Whether you're showcasing your latest designs, sharing documents, or embedding multimedia content, Floatdrive empowers you to enhance your website's functionality and user experience.

Getting Started

To begin embedding files from Floatdrive into any no-code website builder, follow these simple steps:

1. Sign up for a Floatdrive account or sign in to your existing account.
2. Select existing workspace or create a new one by clicking the Create workspace button.
3. Click on the Upload files button.
4. Select the files you want to upload from your device.
5. Upon completion, your files will be readily available in your Floatdrive storage.
6. By default, the files are private. To continue, make the file public by clicking the Make Public button.

Embedding Methods

Floatdrive offers two methods for integrating files:

1. Direct links
   • Public links: links to access files, allowing users to view content directly in the browser (e.g., videos, audio, PDFs) without downloading. Just click Copy link and select Public link.
   • Download Links: links to download files, triggering the download window for users to save the file locally. For this case, use Copy link and select Download link.
2. Embeds: Embed files and folders using iframes with the ability to customize the design to seamlessly blend the files into your website design.

Embed Design Customization

We provide several default kinds of designs: these are different kinds of iframes in which you can change the color, font, background, size, icons and control the style of the progress bar.
Custom design will be saved separately and you can choose it for any file you are going to integrate.

1. Select the file you wish to embed.
2. Click on the Embed button.
3. Select an existing design, or create a new one based on the default styles.
4. Copy or preview the generated code.

Embedding in Readymag

Now that you have your embed codes or direct links, it's time to integrate them into your website builder. Here's how to do it with Readymag:

1. Log in to your Readymag account.
2. Create a project or select an existing one.
3. Create a Code widget.
4. Paste the iframe embed code generated from Floatdrive into the Code widget.
5. Adjust the size and positioning of the embedded file as needed.
6. Save your changes and preview your website to see the embedded file in action.
